Where the works come from

Every work here was released into the public domain by the museum that holds it. Art Institute of Chicago, Cleveland Museum of Art, National Gallery of Art, Washington, Smithsonian Institution and The Metropolitan Museum of Art publish their open-access images for anyone to use, and we credit each work to its museum. Ochre Editions is independent of these museums, and none of them endorses it.
